Free tool · six markets · instant result
Paste a financial services ad, pick the markets and platforms it will run on, and see which rules its words trigger before you submit it: rate disclosures, banned phrases, pre-approval gates and platform certifications across the US, the UK, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana. No email needed to see the result.
Every rule comes from our fintech ad compliance checklist and who has to approve a fintech ad, each sourced to the regulator’s or platform’s own text. A pre-check, not legal advice.
Confirmed. Your report is on the way. It should reach your inbox within a few minutes. If it doesn’t, check your promotions or spam folder.
Your pre-check
This reads the words, not the meaning. It can flag a phrase that is fine in context and miss a problem it has no rule for. The rules were read between 20 September and 1 October 2026 and are re-checked monthly. Your counsel decides how they apply to your product.
You get every flag with the rule behind it, the markets and platforms you picked, and the ad you checked, so you can hand it to whoever signs off. We’ll ask you to confirm your email first, then send it. That is the only email you’ll get, unless you tick the box below.
It runs the ad against 47 rules, each tied to a row of the checklist or the approval map. A rule fires when the market, the platform and the product match and the words that trigger it are in the ad. Some fire on the market alone, because they apply to every ad there.
Each flag is marked fix before it runs (the ad as written breaks a rule or cannot run there), check (a rule may apply and needs a look), or always applies (a rule for every ad in that market or on that platform). Where our sources did not cover something, there is no rule for it, rather than a guess.
No. It is a pre-check that shows which written rules an ad’s words and targeting trigger, with the source for each. Your counsel or compliance team decides how they apply to your product and signs the ad off.
The United States, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana, on Google Ads and Meta. The regulator rules apply whatever the platform; the platform rules are added for the platforms you tick.
Under CONC 3.5, a UK credit promotion that states a rate or any cost figure needs a full representative example and a postal address. Those will not fit in a search ad, so most UK credit ads leave the rate out.
Yes. Under the ARCON Act 2022, placing an advertisement in any medium directed at the Nigerian market without prior approval of the Advertising Standards Panel is an offence, and the Act reaches foreign advertisers.
They were read between 20 September and 1 October 2026 and are re-checked every month, alongside the checklist and our Google Ads policy tracker. When a rule changes, the checker and the checklist change together.
No. The result shows on screen. The email is only if you want the report sent to you, and the newsletter is a separate box you can leave unticked.
